it's here, people! it's here! well, not actually. it won't be "here" here for a little less than a year. but it is nearly here.
the Hunger Games movie has been cast!! it is becoming a reality!! i am so very excited for this.
they've cast Jennifer Lawrence as the heroine, Katniss Everdeen; Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark; and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne.
right now, i think i might be the only one who's actually pleased with the casting. if you go and read the comments on Mockingjay.net or on any of the Hunger Games Facebook pages that have posted the news, you will see that most of the fans are infuriated. the main reason concerns the actors' hair colors.
haha.
i just have to laugh at that; it's such a retarded reason. it is not a big deal. they already have a statement from the director saying that they're going to dye Jennifer's hair. he hasn't spoken for the other two yet, but again, it's not a huge crisis. an actor's appearance isn't his whole performance.
i've seen a couple photo-manipulations of the stars where people have photoshopped the "correct" hair colors in.
see? it's not a big deal!! an easy fix!! calm down, you rabid fangirls.
anyway. i am excited. others are not. but that is okay. because they have the actors. and the movie is coming out in a year.
needless to say: i can't wait!!!
